Russia to present fuel cell train prototype in 2025
Transmashholding (TMH), one of Russia’s largest producers of locomotives and rail equipment, intends to present a hydrogen fuel cell train prototype in 2025, Kallanish notes.
The company says that the development of design documentation is now at an active stage, and being carried out by the TMH Engineering division. The multi-unit passenger train under development will be used in suburban traffic.
