Tesla to open Nevada battery plant using CATL equipment: report
Tesla is reportedly planning to open a small energy storage battery production facility in Nevada, expanding its production capacity within the state.
The plant will be installed in the city of Sparks, which is already home to Tesla’s Gigafactory Nevada. According to a Bloomberg report citing anonymous sources, this plant is part of Tesla’s wider efforts to create a domestic lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) supply chain.
