US Postal Service picks Oshkosh for next-gen delivery vehicle
The US Postal Service has granted Wisconsin’s Oshkosh Defense its 10-year contract to build a new, modernised vehicle fleet, Kallanish reports.
The initial $482 million stage of the contract stipulates that Oshkosh must produce between 50,000 and 165,000 Next Generation Delivery Vehicles (NGDV) over 10 years. The contract will ultimately be worth billions of dollars.
