Wood, Centrica, Equinor partner for low-carbon H2 storage in England
Scotland-based engineering company Wood has partnered with Centrica Storage for low-carbon hydrogen production and storage in the East of England, Kallanish reports.
In a statement on Monday, the company said it is assessing the potential for turning its Easington gas processing terminal in East Yorkshire into a low-carbon hub. Under the plan, hydrogen would be delivered by Centrica to the Humber region in partnership with Norwegian energy major Equinor.
