OMK's Vyksa Steel Works hikes HRC output 10% to over 1mt in 2014
Russia’s Vyksa Steel Works (VSW) increased production of hot rolled coil by 10% year-on-year in 2014 to over 1 million tonnes. This was mainly due to higher consumption by the company’s pipe mills whose orders increased over the previous year, Kallanish learns. VSW is part of Russian flat steel and pipemaker United Metallurgical Company (OMK).
