Russias Vyksa Steel Works hikes pipe output 20% in 2014 on higher oil & gas demand
Russia’s Vyksa Steel Works (VSW) increased pipe production 20% year-on-year in 2014 to 1.8 million tonnes thanks to a growth in deliveries to domestic oil & gas companies. The company, part of Russian flat steel and pipemaker United Metallurgical Company (OMK), also benefited from diversified pipe production following the modernisation of its 203-530 pipe mill.
