Ahmsa expands coking coal production
Mexican steelmaker Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) says it has put into operation the first long face of the coking coal Mine VIII at its Minera del Norte Mimosa unit, Kallanish learns from the company. The deposit will improve raw material supplies for the blast furnaces at the steelmaker’s Monclova plant, Ahmsa observes.
