AK completes work on Ohio research centre
AK Steel has formally opened its $36 million research and development centre in Middletown, Ohio.
AK broke ground on the facility in February 2015, Kallanish notes.
The company will conduct research on advanced stainless, carbon and electrical steels, with a particular eye toward developing new grades of advanced high-strength steels for the auto industry.
