AK joins US sheet price push
AK Steel has publicly lent its support to NLMK’s sheet increase, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
Effective immediately for new orders, AK has set new minimum base prices of $420/short ton for hot-rolled coil; $540/st for cold-rolled coil; and $550/st for hot-dipped galvanized coil. Kallanish currently has HRC at $360-380/st and CRC and galv substrate at $490-510/st.
