AK Steel ceo to retire by year-end
AK Steel president and ceo James Wainscott plans to retire at the end of the year, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
Wainscott, who was appointed president and ceo in 2003, will retain his position as chairman of the board when he retires on January 1. Wainscott has served as AK’s chairman since January 2006.
His replacement as ceo is slated to be current chief financial officer Roger Newport. Newport has held the cfo position since 2012.
