AK, US Steel join sheet price hike
AK Steel and US Steel have lent their weight to the $30/short ton sheet price hike initiated late last week by California Steel Industries, Kallanish reports.
The increase has already received support from Nucor, NLMK, ArcelorMittal and others.
One buy-side source says he is not sure how much of the $30/st will initially be collected, “... but the bleeding has at least stopped.”
