Algerian Qatari Steel exports third of 2023 output
Algerian Qatari Steel produced some 1.7 million tonnes of finished steel products in 2023, exporting 700,000t to 30 countries around the globe, chief executive Yousef Ahmed Al Muhannadi is quoted as saying by Qatar News Agency.
In terms of value, the exports accounted for one third of the total $1.2 billion turnover generated by the company last year.
