All is quiet in the US sheet market
The US sheet market is quiet this week, with some expectations that prices may be peaking.
Spot prices for hot rolled coil are reported in the range of $1,460-1,500/short ton, ex-works mill. The lower end of the range moved up by $60/st from last week, while the higher end of the range remains the same, Kallanish notes. Cold rolled coil prices moved up by $50/st from last week to $1,800-1,900/st this week.
