Higher steel shipments lift AMNS India profitability

ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) India’s Ebitda increased by 208% year-on-year to $499 million in the fourth quarter of 2023, supported by higher steel shipments, Kallanish notes. Compared to Q3 2023, however, Ebitda fell by 6.4% quarter-on-quarter due to a lower impact from natural gas hedges.
