Aperam decreases most alloy surcharges
French stainless steel producer Aperam has decreased its alloy surcharges for August for its austenitic range of flat stainless steels for Europe by some €500/tonne ($510). Grade 304, however, has increased €500/t month-on-month due to raw material fluctuations, Kallanish notes.
