Aperam increases alloy surcharges
French stainless producer Aperam has increased its June alloy surcharges by around €90/tonne ($99/t) month-on-month for its austenitic range of flat stainless steels for Europe, Kallanish learns from the company. This follows several months during which surcharges have been steadily reducing.
The surcharge for grade 304 (1.4301) has been hiked from €1,270/t in May to €1,362/t from 1 June. That for grade 316 has gone up from €1,844/t this month …
