Aperam increases October energy surcharge
French stainless steel producer Aperam is applying a €639/tonne ($620) energy surcharge to its contracts starting this month. This is up from €480/t applied last month. The new energy surcharge is composed of electricity, gas costs, and CO2 emissions allowance, Kallanish notes.
