Aperam lowers May alloy surcharges
French stainless producer Aperam has lowered its May alloy surcharges by around €30/tonne ($32/t) month-on-month for its austenitic range of flat stainless steels for Europe, Kallanish learns from the company. This continues a sequence of several months during which surcharges have been steadily reducing.
The surcharge for grade 304 (1.4301) has fallen from €1,300/t in April to €1,270/t from 1 May. That for grade 316 has gone down from €1,936/t…
