ArcelorMittal Zenica reuses process gases to reduce emissions
ArcelorMittal’s Bosnia-based Zenica long steelworks has commissioned a new, combined heating and power plant, the company says.
It will reduce sulphur dioxide and dust emissions from the mill by 80%, Kallanish notes. The power plant was built by Toplana Zenica, a joint venture between ArcelorMittal Zenica (50%), the City of Zenica (20%), and KPA Unicon and FinnFund (15% each).
