BHP's Port Hedland wharf hit by bulk carrier
A Singaporean bulk carrier, The Mount Tai, collided with a wharf at global miner BHP’s iron ore export facility in Port Hedland, Australia on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
"An liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuelled iron-ore carrier made minimal contact with a BHP wharf while berthing at the Port of Port Hedland on Wednesday," Australia's Pilbara Ports Authority spokesperson confirms.
