Port Hedland iron ore shipments up in March
Iron ore shipments from Port Hedland in Western Australia rose month-on-month and year-on-year to 50.08 million tonnes in March, underpinned by higher shipments across the regions, Kallanish notes.
According to Pilbara Ports Authority data, the port's iron ore exports increased by 29.04% from 38.81mt in February, and 9.44% from 45.76mt a year earlier.
