Bolivia approves Chinese loan for El Mutún
The Bolivian Senate has officially approved a law, which enables the financial support from China's Eximbank for the building of the Siderúrgica del Mutún steel mill. This was revealed in a statement made by the Bolivian Government, monitored by Kallanish.
The loan is for a period of 15 years, as the majority sum for the project will be covered by Eximbank, whilst the remaining part will come from the Bolivian government.
