China steel output to fall -2.9% in 2016

China’s crude steel production is expected to fall -2.9% from 2015 to 783 million tonnes in 2016, Li Xinchuang, president of the China Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute (MPI) told Kallanish on Wednesday.
