China's scrap price declines in quiet market
Chinese scrap markets are almost closed for the holidays, with both supply and demand weakening.
On Friday, Kallanish assessed 6mm+ heavy scrap delivered to mills in eastern China's Yangtze River Delta at CNY 2,907/tonne ($404/t), including VAT. This is unchanged from Thursday and CNY 2/t lower from a week before.
