Chinese steel futures slip again
Both rebar and HRC futures fell again in Shanghai on Wednesday, albeit only marginally when compared with some recent daily movements, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange the May rebar contract closed at CNY 3,804/tonne ($578/t), CNY 19/t lower than Tuesday, while the same contract for hot rolled coil slipped CNY 37/t to CNY 3,840/t.
