Chinese steel plunges on real estate, output
Chinese steel futures nose-dived in the last half hour of morning trading on Tuesday as further restrictions on tier one property markets spooked investors. Higher Chinese steel output numbers in early November suggested plentiful supply despite low inventories but costs mean prices cannot fall too far, Kallanish notes.
