Chinese steelmakers to overhaul blast furnaces
Public information reveals that four steelmakers in China plan to halt blast furnaces from March, including Shougang Jingtang, Shougang Shuicheng, Bengang and Shanxi Taigang (Tisco). This will reduce iron output by over 350,000 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
