CIS crude steel output decreases in February

CIS crude steel production decreased in February, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 6.7 million tonnes, down 2.5% year-on-year. In January-February, output was also less, by 0.7% on-year to 13.7mt. Russian production last month is estimated to have decreased by 4.4% to 5.7mt.
