CIS increases crude steel output in July

CIS crude steel production increased in July, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 7.4 million tonnes, up by 9.3% year-on-year. That total was higher the volume seen in June, when CIS production was 6.8mt, up by 5.2% on-year (see Kallanish passim). In January-July, output fell by 0.8% on-year to 51.2mt.
