CIS steel output rebounds in March, down on-year
CIS crude steel production increased in March, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 7.6 million tonnes, up by 3% year-on-year.
In February, CIS production was at 6.4mt, down by 21.3% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
In January-March, output was thus down by 11.8% on-year at 21.4mt.
