Coking coal continues to rise amid tight supply
Australian fob coking coal prices continued to trend higher during the week ended 12 January amid tight supply in Australia.
Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $333.70/tonne fob Australia, up $5.17/t from $328.53/t fob the previous week.
On the Singapore Exchange, Premium Coking Coal Futures for February settled at $321/t fob on Friday, down by $3.75/t from $324.75/t fob a week earlier.
