Coking coal rebounds on India restocking, fundamentals weak
Australian fob coking coal prices rebounded last week, underpinned by restocking activity in India.
Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $240.89/tonne fob Australia, rising $11.61/t from $229.28/t the previous week.
On the Singapore Exchange, Premium Coking Coal Futures for June settled at $244.33/t on Friday. This is versus the May futures price settlement of $234.67/t fob a week earlier.
