Robe Mesa iron ore deposit expands
Australian miner CZR Resources has reported a material 52% increase in the JORC resource of its Robe Mesa iron-ore deposit in the Pilbara from 24.7 million tonnes to 37.5mt, Kallanish notes.
The expanded mineral resource reflects the strong assay results reported in the March quarter, which revealed the presence of extensive direct shipping iron ore (DSO) outside the pre-feasibility study (PFS) pit designs.
