Egypt sets gas prices to domestic industry
Egypt’s Prime Minister announced Thursday that the price for natural gas to domestic industrial consumers has been set and will be reviewed every six months, Kallanish Steel’s sister publication Kallanish Energy reports.
The iron and steel industry will pay $5.5 per million British thermal unit (MMBtu), while the cement industry will pay $6/MMBtu, Mostafa Madbouly said in a statement.
