Eramet to start Indonesian nickel plant early
French miner Eramet says its nickel plant in Weda Bay in Indonesia will be put into production in the first half of 2020, instead of the second half of 2020.
The plant is operated by China's Tsingshan Group and Eramet. The targeted production of this plant is 30,000 tonnes/year of contained nickel, of which 13,000t is offtake for Eramet, Kallanish notes.
