Eramet takes controlling interest in Australia's MDL
French-headquartered miner Eramet has announced that it has acquired a controlling interest in Australian iron ore junior, Mineral Deposits Limited (MDL).
Eramet says that it now holds a relevant interest in 63.87% of MDL shares that the Australian miner’s board of directors have unanimously recommended that MDL shareholders accept Eramet’s offer.
