Lisco to suspend output on heat-induced power outages
Libyan Prime Minister Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba has taken a severe measure to ease the impact of increasing power cuts, ordering Misrata-based Libyan Iron and Steel Company (Lisco) to suspend production, a Lisco spokesperson confirms to Kallanish. This in order to redistribute the 150MW the steelmaker consumes across the electricity network to reduce blackouts.
