Fenix's first half profit surges on higher revenue
Australian miner Fenix Resources has reported higher profit in the first half ended 31 December, 2023, amid higher revenue, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a statement that its net profit after tax for the first half surged 102% year-on-year to AUD 22.1 million ($14.37m).
Its revenue for the first half also rose 49% y-o-y to AUD 126.9m.
The firm shipped a total of 1.45 million wet metric tonnes (wmt) of iron ore during the six-month period.
