Hegang commences Laoting coking project
Hebei Iron & Steel (Hegang) recently began the construction of two new coke ovens in its Laoting coking project. The facility is being constructed by Chinese technology supplier MCC 1, Kallanish notes.
The coking ovens are top loaded, are 7 metres high and use a dry quenching system. The project includes three dry quenching systems with a working efficiency of 200 tonnes/hour. The whole project involves the installation of four coke ovens. These are targeted…
