Hyundai Steel suffers accidents at Incheon, Dangjin plants
Hyundai Steel has seen accidents occur at its Incheon and Dangjin plants in recent weeks. However, this has had little impact on production, Kallanish learns.
Last week, a ship carrying 5,000 tonnes of iron ore tailings was swamped in the sea near Dangjin Port. According to Hyundai Steel, the Dangjin plant planned to transport the tailings to the Incheon plant after smelting the iron ore. There were no casualties in this accident.
