Hyundai Steel to form steel pipe subsidiary
Hyundai Steel, the second largest steelmaker in South Korea, on Tuesday decided to establish a steel pipe manufacturing and sales subsidiary to boost its competitiveness, Kallanish learns.
The wholly-owned subsidiary is scheduled to be established in October 2023, which could be adjusted on procedure issues. Hyundai Steel intends to invest KRW 14 billion ($10.38 million) in cash.
