India’s November coking coal, iron ore imports plunge
Indian coking coal imports dropped 11% on-year to 4.59 million tonnes in November, against 5.15mt imported last year. In April-November, coking coal imports thus grew by 12.58% on-year to 37.59mt, Kallanish notes.
India’s intake of iron ore meanwhile reduced by 2% on-year to 2.9mt in November. Imports also plummeted 25.82% on-year to 25mt in April-November.
