Iron ore starts March trading with declines
Seaborne iron ore prices started March trading with a significant decline on Friday.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and the KORE 65% Fe index declined by $2.68/t and $3/t respectively on Friday to $115.84/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $128.27/dmt cfr. The KORE 58% Fe index lost $3.1/t to $103.9/dmt cfr. Sources reported that 170,000t of PB Fines were sold at a floating price with a laycan of 6-15 April.
