Italian crude output continues to decline
Italian crude steel output fell again significantly in September after a series of declines seen since the beginning of the year, according to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai.
Last month, crude steel production fell by as much as 18.7% year-on-year to 1.8 million tonnes, and by 11.1% on-year over the first nine months of 2022 to 16.4mt, Kallanish notes.
