Italian crude steel output continues to rise
Italian crude steel output increased again in August following the hike in July. August output rose by 9.2% year-on-year to 820,000 tonnes, according to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai. In the first eight months of the year, however, production fell by 4.1% on-year to 14 million tonnes, Kallanish notes.
