Italian crude output tumbles
Italian crude steel output fell again significantly in August after a series of declines seen since the beginning of the year, according to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai.
Last month, crude steel production tumbled by as much as 42.2% year-on-year to 732,000 tonnes, and by 10% on-year over the first eight months of 2022 to 14.5mt, Kallanish notes.
