Japanese scrap firms at home, in South Korea
Japanese scrap prices have risen both domestically and in South Korea, Kallanish notes.
South Korea’s Posco bid for Japanese shredded scrap on Wednesday at JPY 57,500/tonne ($415/t) cfr, HS grade at JPY 59,500/t and Shindachi grade at JPY 59,000/t.
