Jianlong to buy Malaysia’s Eastern Steel stake
China’s Shanxi Jianlong, part of Jianlong Group, has agreed to buy a 40% stake in Malaysian slab plant Eastern Steel and is in discussion to buy a larger stake, Kallanish learns from the mill's Malaysian owners. Jianlong will take the 40% stake from a subsidiary of Shougang.
