JSPL bags Mumbai Metro head-hardened rail contract

Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) has bagged the head-hardened rail supply contract for the Mumbai Metro project. JSPL’s scope of delivery includes supplying 9,800 tonnes of 60E1 (UIC-60) 1080-grade head hardened rails as per IRS T-12-2009 specification for line-4 (Bhakti Park-Kasavadavali) and the extension corridor (Kasaravadavali-Gaimukh).
