JSPL eyes 16mt capacity in 2025

Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL) plans to expand its crude steel capacity to 15.9 million tonnes/year in the fiscal year through March 2025 (FY25) versus 8.6m t/y in FY21. This will be driven mainly by the 6.3m t/y capacity addition in Angul Phase II. Iron ore pellet capacity will simultaneously rise to 21m t/y from 9m t/y.
